This used to be the most comprehensive UK microlighting site on the web back in 2006 when it was known as Nick's Micropages. Unfortunately, due to a failure of our registrar's automatic renewal system we lost the micropages.co.uk domain and it was re-registered by Colin Mackinnon of Microlight Scotland. In spite of repeated requests Mr. Mackinnon refused to hand the domain back, even when we offered to pay a premium price for it. He also refused to redirect the domain to this site. He has never used it and I have to say I found his attitude almost incomprehensible. He has in my opinion brought shame on the sport with this act of blatant cybersquatting. As a result our long-established links with microlighters and ultralighters round the world were broken, our Google rankings lost and a great deal of inconvenience and financial loss ensued. This site nonetheless is still a fascinating repository of microlighting anecdotes from the past, and we will continue to maintain it. Who knows, one day we may even find the time to redesign and revive it as an up to date site. In the meantime, please enjoy the historical material, humour and articles available here.
