Bockenfield | I would just like to say that it was an honor to have Brian Milton together with his friends fly into Bockenfield on their final leg of their journey. Not having radio myself but knowing that he was well on his way from East Fortune I took off in my Chaser S in search of him. I caught sight of him just south of Alnwick in Northumberland and followed him into our Grass strip. Many of our members had made special arrangements including myself (thanks to FlexiTime) to be at the field hoping that Brian would call in on his way south. |

White Waltham | We flew into WW from Graveley
to welcome Brian home. We were not asked to accomany Brian to Brooklands, which would have
been nice. This ended the trip off for myself - I took a couple of days off to fly to WW
earlier in the year for the Press Briefing then accompanied Brian to Le Touquet. I am
proud to have played my part and have kept my workmates aware of the progress via the
works Notice Board. PS maybe a get together for us "Lower Echelon" followers would be in order? |

| Bill Holland Kidderminster Bill.holland@btinternet.com |
Shobdon | As I am still 'under training', my shiney 'Q' will
have to stay in the hanger at Pound Green, but I will certainly drive to Shobdon to cheer
on the man. Bill made it to White Waltham and sent us a great series of photos! |
| Judy Leden | Bagby | Judy is currently driving all over Yorkshire to try to
meet Brian - Judy met up with Brian at Bagby - see photo! |
| Harry Simons | White Waltham | Thank you for the information that allowed me to meet
Brian earlier today. In fact after helping right an upturned trike blown over in the
horrendous conditions ( which flew out of Brooklands later ), I was lucky enough(Yeah - I think I was) to get to hold Brian and his trike down as he (we) taxied down the runway - I'm the chap in the blue jeans and polo shirt. Please let Brian know that it was indeed an honour to help (in an extremely small way!) him. Even in such trying conditions, he was a gentleman, considerate and polite. Truly an ambassador for our sport. |
